Bare Bait Dance company has made contemporary dance more accessible to both the Missoula community as well as rural Montanan communities since 2011. BBD's latest project is a screen dance film titled "Window Dressing" available online May 7-May 16.
In the final BBD Company concert of the season, Window Dressing, we take a moment to look from the outside in. Inspired by glimpses of home life seen only through windows, this season-closer will be a screen dance film, videoed on-location in a Missoula home. It depicts the story of 6 women weaving through the domestic moments of life after suffering a loss. Filmed by Mike Steinberg and Kelly Bouma, directed/choreographed by Joy French, the film honors women’s ability to lean on one another and heal.
